“I chose Brown because I knew my program would be academically rigorous while allowing me to learn both inside and outside of the classroom. As an undergraduate student, I majored in Global and Public Health Sciences, which taught me the importance of public health and community engagement outside of the campus and Brown seemed like a place where I could continue being a part of the greater community.
I love that Providence has a variety of cuisines and that the beach is only a short drive away. While working as a graduate assistant, I enjoyed having the freedom to determine the social activities for incoming students at Orientation. After graduation I hope to be a public health analyst so that I can improve health outcomes at the population level.”
