While my past two years at Brown were marred by the pandemic, if I had to delve on the positives, it would undoubtedly be the wonderful experience I've had with the Brown community. This includes professors who have shaped the way I solve problems and communicate ideas, and the interactions with my peers from various disciplines.
I chose to pursue a master's degree to broaden my knowledge and perform research in my domain of interest, which will hopefully be a stepping-stone in preparation for Ph.D. candidacy or a job in industry. A master's degree is well sought after in the U.S. job market.
In my time at Brown, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to apply my recently acquired knowledge in research projects within Brown's Visual Computing Lab and in an industry during my summer internship. Broadly speaking, I love to solve problems in the intersection of computer graphics, computer vision and deep learning. I hope to build impactful products that aid artists and novice users in their creative endeavors.
