At this time, there are two local vaccination sites available to Brown students. On Monday, May 17, there will be an on campus clinic at the OMAC with limited availability. Additionally, vaccination appointments are available at the Dunkin Donuts Center daily between 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. We are excited to be able to offer the vaccination to graduate students, and hope that those who do not attend the Monday clinic take advantage of the local vaccination offerings.
Option 1: On Campus Vaccination Clinic on Monday, May 17
Register online to make an appointment for the on campus clinic on Monday, May 17. The clinic will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the OMAC (235 Hope Street). Please remember to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Option 2: Local Vaccination Opportunities
Vaccinations are currently being offered at the Dunkin Donuts Center in downtown Providence. The “Brown Vaccine Express” shuttle will make trips between Hillel (80 Brown St.) and the Dunkin Donuts Center (1 La Salle Square) Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the “Chestnut/RiverHouse Express'' shuttle will provide transportation to the Dunkin Donuts Center; this route is slightly longer as it makes additional stops, and it circulates to the Dunkin Donuts Center between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Shuttles continue to run at 50% capacity to enable social distancing, which allows room for approximately 10-14 people per shuttle. The shuttles will run every 8-10 minutes.
Upload Your Vaccination Information
Once you receive your first shot, please upload your vaccination card directly to the Health & Wellness Patient Portal. We recommend you access the patient portal via desktop as it will allow for an easier upload than mobile. Detailed instructions are available through the Verify Your Vaccination information section on the Healthy Brown site. We ask that you upload your completed vaccination card once you’ve received both doses, if receiving the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines.
If you have a need for transportation, we encourage you to take advantage of the shuttle service and the opportunity to get vaccinated. We look forward to you enjoying a healthy and safe summer on campus.
