Campus Activity Level
Brown’s Campus Activity Status remains at Level 2. At this time, the only permissible in-person social gatherings are those hosted by a University department; all require face-coverings and social distancing.

The Nelson Fitness Center also has reopened by reservation as have other outdoor recreation facilities. Due to health and safety protocols, please note that availability is likely to continue to be substantially limited for all students.

We know this can be a challenging time of the semester under typical circumstances, and this is hardly a typical term. If you need general personal support, deans in Student Support Services and the Associate Dean of Student Support in the Graduate School are an excellent place to start. The Graduate School deans and your DGS are available to provide academic support. Counseling and Psychological Services and University Chaplains are important support resources as well.
Thank you again for all your good efforts. We encourage you to look for opportunities to find community safely in-person, as well as virtually, and remember that we are here to support you.
Sincerely,
Andrew G. Campbell
Dean of the Graduate School
