The beginning of my time at Brown has been fantastic. I took five courses last year: one mathematics, two solid mechanics and two robotics. These courses practiced both of my theoretical and practical abilities. I also joined the Applied Mechanics Lab and have had the opportunity to conduct research under Assistant Professor of Engineering, Haneesh Kesari. My first year at Brown gave me three things: theoretical and practical preparations for future research, clearer research direction, and a proper lifestyle for studying and living in the United States.
I did a summer internship at FANUC Robotics Co., Ltd and found I can apply my learning in industrial robotic companies after my master's study. I am interested in deeper research through a doctoral program. Thanks to my experience at Brown, I am very motivated to do more professional research on mechanics and robotics.
