Pursuing a master’s degree falls in line with my life philosophy of perfectionism; I strive to excel at every task I commit to. Earning an MPA degree will help further build my knowledge and understanding of the topics that interest me. In addition, a master’s degree will help set me apart from the ever-growing competition on today’s job market. The degree allows me to not only reach larger organizations, but also more advanced positions within these establishments. Lastly, a master’s degree specifically from Brown gives me access to incredible professional connections and other resources that I would otherwise not have. I hope to leverage these assets in order to further push my personal development.

I hope to build a reputation of extensive experience in terms of being a policy analyst at a senior level. I aim to analyze policies on a wide array of topics, and seek out the most efficient ways of implementing them in the real world, whether it be in the public or private sector. I look forward to combining my undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Economics with my MPA in order to also work directly with companies and organizations to help them best streamline their operations to match industry-leading standards.

I would say that the beginning of my year at Brown has been rewarding! I have taken Statistics and Economics (for Public Policy) to date and they have been by far the most intense courses I have ever taken. They have also been incredibly interesting and thought-provoking, particularly due to their hands-on approach to learning. The extensive experience of my professors, John Friedman and Emily Oster, has also been evident through their teaching. Last but not least, the very accomplished and diverse cohort that I am a part of this year have been very accepting and fun to work with. Overall, I would say the first month has been a great success and I look forward to the next two semesters!
