TravelSafe for International Travel

All graduate students should register their international Brown sponsored travel in TravelSafe, Brown’s global travel registry. Travelers can register their international trips directly via their Brown login. Adding travel itineraries and emergency contact information enables international travel risk management staff to reach out and assist travelers in the event of an emergency; it also activates the benefits of Brown’s emergency assistance provider, International SOS as well as the Study/Travel Abroad Accident and Sickness insurance policy, at no cost to the traveler.

Brown also has international travel policies related to High-Risk and Restricted travel that may affect graduate students traveling to certain high-risk regions of the world. Detailed information on this policy can be found on the International Travel Risk Management website. Please review this well in advance of your intended travel in the event you may need permission from the International Travel Risk Assessment Committee (ITRAC) prior to departure.
