International Graduate Student Orientation - Fall 2026

Schedule is subject to change. All sessions will be available in person and livestreamed, except for meals and social community-building events.

  • The schedule will be available on the BrownU app in August.
  • Social and community-building events will be announced and open for registration by early August via the Brown Graduate School events calendar.
  • Zoom links will be available the week before Orientation.
  • Registration for International Graduate Student Orientation is required; please see your email for instructions.
Prior to International Orientation, newly arrived students in Initial F-1 or J-1 status will need to complete and submit the “New Student Registration” request on the Requests and Documents Tab within their OISSS Gateway account to activate their F-1 or J-1 SEVIS record to maintain valid F/J Immigration status.
